인류의 새로운 시작, 마스의 줄거리
2016년 11월 National Geographic에서 방영을 시작한 SF물. NASA에서 발표한 화성 유인 탐사 및 거주 플랜이 예정대로 시작했을 경우를 가정해 마주할 수 있는 여러 상황을 그리며, 현재 시간대인 2016년대와 작중 시간대인 2033년대로 나뉘어 묘사되는 다큐멘터리 드라마. 2033년, 6인의 우주 비행사로 구성된 다이달로스 탐사대는 마침내 인류 최초로 화성에 발을 딛는데 성공하며 화성을 인류의 새 정착지로 만들기 위한 모험이 시작된다. 그러나 당초 상정하지 못한 여러 문제가 벌어지는 바람에 그들의 탐사는 하루하루가 생존을 위한 고된 사투로 바뀌고 마는데...
